Hi lists,
I recently noticed that registration has already been open,
as well as the buses from airports to Esino Lario.
https://wikimania2016.wikimedia.org/wiki/Registrationhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/wikimania-2016-airport-transfers-tickets-22670…
If you're already booked your flights and you know your
flight number and arrival time, you can buy the tickets
for the buses.
My question is: my flight arrives 20:55 (of Jun 23rd, AZ419)
at Milano-Linate Airport, and is such late arrival expected to
be picked up by the bus to Esino Lario?
If not, I will (or have to) change my flight(s).

Hi everyone,
this is just a friendly reminder about the deadline for submitting
posters, discussions and trainings for Wikimania 2016.
You have time until March 30, so if you haven't yet uploaded your
proposal it is time to hurry up!
The page is always the same:

Hi,
Can someone shed light on the preferred arrival date for Wikimania? The Programme page has dates listed from June 21 to June 28, but 21st, 27th, and 28th are left blank.
Also, Wikimania Takes Lake Como (WTLC) is planned four days prior to 23rd (20th-23rd?). Does that mean folks who would like to attend this, needs to arrive on the 19th?
I've posted this on the wiki as well, but I did not get a clear response. So I'm posting here to reach a wider audience.
P.s. You might also be interested in this thread: https://wikimania2016.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Programme#Pre_and_post-confer…

Dear organizers,
I have a few questions regarding the catering in Esino Lario.
The registration page offers three kinds of tickets for 5 days Hackathon
+ Conference:
Full ticket: 500 EUR
Full ticket without accommodation: 300 EUR
Simple ticket: 35 EUR
The difference between full ticket w/o acc. and simple ticket (300 EUR -
35 EUR = 265 EUR) comes from 5 x (lunch + dinner). This leads to an
average price of 26,50 EUR for a lunch or a dinner.
1. Is this a normal price for a meal in Esino Lario?
2. Are there possibilities for participants with a simple ticket to buy
lunch and dinner during the conference?
Kind regards,
Sebastian
I have followed up with everyone who accepted the WMF Full and Partial
Scholarships offer. You all should have received information about how to
register this past week. If not, please get in touch with me directly.
The partial scholarship offers from the WMIT chapter were made and
registration details about those will be forthcoming.
Thanks, Ellie

The registration form says:
"I agree to read and abide by the Friendly Space policy, full details of
the policy can be found below or at

The Wikimedia Foundation is dedicated to providing a harassment-free
venue and conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender,
sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, physical
appearance, age, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, national
origin, or religion—and not limited to these aspects. We do not tolerate
any form of harassment of conference participants. Sexual language and
imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue or talks. Any
participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from
the conference at the discretion of the conference organizers."
The second paragraph is the first paragraph of the
https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Friendly_space_policy , which means
"full details" are not below.
It should either just include the full policy inline (simpler), or say
something like:
"I agree to read and abide by the Friendly Space policy, found at
https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Friendly_space_policy . An excerpt
is below:

Finally, remember that the calls for discussions, posters and trainings

Hi,
I was filling up the travel details form (
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1M5iU2fn38sLxYOlb-PkVzneZiVHc9pwbgzVxeRFCfY…
the travel details form) and got stuck in the return journey section. The
following line is written in that section of the form
- *Return Journey; you will be departing from Milan on 27th June,
Travelling to which city/airport?*
Now, what if, someone want to travel for few days after conference or
attend for the post-conference events and return from another airport other
than Milan. It seems that there is no such option in the form to plan for
the travel. Its a bit confusing. Can someone from the scholarship team help
with this.
