Hey all,
At this point, it's proving hard to understand our characters on the mailing list! Bt it is_ @obvious :no one should take anything personally!
For that matter, Abbas, Alex and Oscar I think you should discuss and come to an agreement who is going! The rest of us will trust the three of you then to do us proud!
cheers,
Lilian.

Hey Ken,
It's always great to have a new member so welcome. I'll direct you to our site for starters: www.wikimedia.or.ke
I'll email you before the end of the day with more info on how to get started later on today
Guys, I think we should have some sort of mentorship program for new members or / and a startup toolkit...
ps: Ken, make sure to edit the subject of your emails to the mailing list for archiving purposes like I've done with this

Hi good people!!
Just a point of view. I think given the list of eligibles , Sam should represent us.Just an equal opportunity base. However, if he isn't interested, vetting should then be done. My consideration idea was, Abbas and Oscar represented us at Germany, Alex is going for the WikiMania thing so Sam should stand this chance ;if only he is interested!!
cheers,
Lilian.

Subject: Re: [Wikimedia Kenya] Wikipedia Takes nairobi Targets
Hey John,
Thanks for your input on this.
The general structure of a Wikipedia takes the City - in this case Nairobi - scavenger hunt usually limits participation to the city. The whole idea being to showcase what a city has to offer in terms of monuments, buildings and infrastructure.
Having Kenyan food included as a target type seems beyond the scope of the hunt.
However, I do love the idea and I think this could be a whole challenge on its own. If you're upto it John and the list ofcourse we can try and set this up as one of our future activities... Feel free to get intouch and we can definately try and setup something.
Cheers,
Alex.

Hey Asaf,
I'm definately interested in this and if the week is before Wikimania as you mentioned, I can make time for it.
Other participants of the 2009 challenge that I'm acquainted with on this list are Abbas, Oscar and Sam. I'm not sure of their schedules/plans during that week, guys...
regards,
Alex.
