And since we've got a handful of IT guys who've joined us, we might want to explore MediaWiki [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki] as well. MediaWiki is the software platform that is used to run all Wikimedia projects. So for those of you who might not have the passion of editing Wikipedia, you may also want to try contributing by designing an open-source anti-vandalism software program for Wikipedia :) I'm not an IT guru per se, so i don't know how MediaWiki works, but if any of you shows interests in it and would like a mentor, I could try and hook you up with a MediaWiki guy. In this meetup Wikimedians in Kenya are expected to meet at the iHub at Bishop Maigua centre along Ngong road in Nairobi. The ihub is located along Ngong road opposite uchumi hyper.The easiest way to get there by bus is by going to the railways bus station in town adjacent to Haille-sellasie avenue then take matatus plying route number 2 then ask them to drop you at uchumi.
