Just to make one thing clear. Benoît isn't "hired" as such by
Versailles. His position falls within the scope of his studies and is
treated as an internship. Internships are highly regulated in France,
and warrant for a minimum subsidy from the participating
company/institution. Wikimedia France is adding to the mix by
subsidizing his accommodation for the duration of the stay.
Needless to say, internships are not very higly paid "jobs" ;)
