Hey all,
I presently have no agenda items for tomorrow's meeting. Please send
me anything that you wish to raise via e-mail before then, and I will
add it to the agenda which I will endeavour to send to the list before
the meeting.
Thanks,
Sean

Hello everyone, I'm back from holiday and I've made good progress on the
Yoruba article. Could someone help by tidying up the refs code [not sure
how to do that yet]. Also, Wikizine says 500 articles, the stats say 381.
Sandy, I am guessing that you know more about this and can clarify. We
still need quotes. There is a US policy angle also.
best wishes
Jenny/Open Research
Hey Greeves, Welcome to ComProj! :)
Normally we send Sean our meeting items privately, so we don't clutter the list for people like Wiki_Blue who get tons of mail a day. :)
Again, Welcome and thanks for bringing up some good ideas (I think I know what it is :-P),

I'll be at my grandparents (reduced Wikimedia activity anyway) next
week until Thursday so I won't be there for the meeting.
Would anyone like to chair it in my absense?

Hi,
I and Tsu-Chiang (who just joined this list) could help with Taiwan chapter
in Asia.

I didn't expect everyone to reply in less than an hour while I was afk! I
would be happy to help with United States chapters (already am pretty
heavily involved), as it seems all of the other people are from Europe.

Can you guys touch base, and coordinate who will be responsible for what
chapter? Also make sure to create a project page, to serve as your
sandbox, and so that we know who is chapter liaison, and how we can
contact you?
Martin's email is martinp23(a)googlemail.com
Gerald: geraldablists(a)gmail.com
I don't have open research.
Thanks Guys :)

Hello,
There is a project Sandy assigned to me some months back that recently
re-occurred to me, and I thought it ought to get done...
However, I realise I'm doing too much stuff now and really don't have
the time, so I am asking if anyone here would like to do it (and will
add it to tonight's agenda if that's okay).
This project is about finding academics among Wikipedians who are
willing to talk about their work, in order to show how Wikipedia is a
great starting point for academic research and that we also want
academics to share their interest. This would be a good opportunity
for the ComProj volunteer to get to know various projects as they
would need to post on village pumps in lots of places.
Sandy gave me lots of details but I can't find them right now, so
(unless you can Sandy, please post them!) haven't created a meta page
yet, but will do if people are interested.

That's all I have so far. Let me know if you have anything else, please.

Hi,
The draft calendar for wikimania has been copied onto the media coverage
page. While this is a draft calendar, sessions/events will not change
drastically. If you are going to wikimania, and would like to cover an
event (ie, write an article), please post your name next to the event
you would like to cover. Please spread the news, so that we can inform
people not attending, and then have cool historical info we can use for
brochures, etc.

Click on Article Coverage.
Going once, going twice?
Does anyone want to be the chapter liaison ? if not, taking this
position of my to do list.
