Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to spread *this blog post
<https://blog.wikimedia.org/2017/10/31/jindrich-nosek-art-library-project/>*
more widely to the community. It's a great story about one person's drive
to make sure that the art history of his country is documented on Wikipedia
and Wikimedia Commons.
If that interests you, the draft is on Meta
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Blog/Drafts/Bringing_light_to_Cze…>
(if an admin could approve my last changes for translation, I'd appreciate
it). I will add any language that gets translated to the blog post.
And if this doesn't interest you, no worries! :-)
Best,

Hey everyone,
Just like last year and the year before that, the Community Tech team
will be working on a list of tasks prioritised by the Wikimedia
community. The wishlist survey will start on Monday; we're setting up
the pages. There will be more edits, but the information already there
should remain stable. Since this is an important way to let the
communities decide the focus of what this team will work on, it'd be
good if the most important information is available in more languages
than English.

If you look at the page, and think it's too much, here's how I would
personally prioritise translating it:
1) Top
2) Schedule
3) What happens during the proposal phase?
4) What happens during the voting phase?
5) Everything else

Thank you, those who have already translated invitations.
If you're reading the page in a language that's not English, there's now a
form that can be used to create proposals in other languages if you need a
translation of the preload (under the categories). Some have translated
that already, but the preload has been difficult to find and translate. The
translation link is this:

Hey all,
Would it be possible to have this paragraph translated into Czech and
Korean? We'd like to post it on the Wikipedia Facebook account, targeted to
those countries.
*From May to July 2017, researchers conducted in-person interviews with 64
new and experienced Wikipedia editors in South Korea and the Czech
Republic. While there has been some previous studies done **on new editors
and what motivates them, much of it has been confined to larger Wikipedias.
The Czech and Korean Wikipedias were chosen to represent mid-sized
Wikipedias. **A report has been published with detailed findings.*
More information:

- Complete report (English)[2]
- Complete report (Korean)[3]
Thank you.
