this was a mistake, I was sending a message to someone entirely different...cursed,
bloody, twisted computers! Orwell was right.
Love,
Ludite.

Hey there... here's a 'quickie' - regarding the 14th and accommodations.
Where did you stay before? I've been researching but haven't settled on anything
as of yet. Also, there is a dinner afterwards 7 to 9 that I did not put you down for as
the last time, you had had all the fun you wanted and were looking for a cool spot to
rest.
Do you have any suggestions? I've got websites. We need to get something fairly
soon and I know you guys
will be taking off soon for higher ground.

I still need to check on the Round Top Inn. Sharon is probably more savy than I as far
as locating places. You will probably want to be as close to Round Top as possible.
Let's discuss this tomorrow. Thank you for all your wonderful encouragement....

My Most Highly Esteemed and Illustrious Joyful Gem:
I too love rainy days and pyrotechnics. Must be a fish thing, especially for electric
eels.
Pikes Peak is wonderful. I didn't remember that it took 4 hrs., but maybe that
was due to the bus you were following. Long's Peak is a 16-hr. up-and-back
trek/climb. I took my daughter, Stacey up when she was 12, and it took a lot longer than
that. I have a great photo of her at the summit.
I'm glad you so enjoyed "As You Like It." Glad you Liked It.
Your Anciano performance will be flawless, just like all the others. Just seeing your
presence will be more than sufficient to carry it off for me. Love the gallery, and
spotted you here and there - I think.
All of the greatest performers perform at a higher level under pressure, and
you're doubtless no exception. Have a groovy weekend there.
Be Love.
With Love,
Walrus

Hey KLFW:
You're comin in loud and clear. To the contrary, I love rainy days....no guilt
about not working outside.... good napping.... my favorite are God's magnificent
pyrotechnical displays!
I remember those images from Estes Park. I went to a TM Meditation workshop there
at the YMCA of the Rockies once. It was incredible. You don't have to fine pyrite,
just any rock....they all seem to sparkle!
You've got much more moxie than me...I drove up Pike's Peak (took 4
hours....was wearing sandals at the bottom and it was snowing at the time....). Followed
a big -ass bus that swung out (way out) over the cliff when we turned the many, many
turns....
I guess all your hiking is what gives you that nice round rump you still have.... I
have been able to tell just by walking around the hospital once a day that my posture is
better and I think I'm getting taller....albeit fatter since I've been stuffing
pies and cakes (lots of stress eating this week).
Crossing the divide and returning is a good sign for longevity. Don't ask me
how I know these things.... they just come to me...
We saw As You Like It with the 10 to 14 year olds last night. They were awesome.
One of my favorite soliloquy is The 7 Ages of Man. It's great.
Got a list of all my parts for the Anciano performance on the 14th. May look for
Hemlock and be done... there is so much talent abounding in this group. I'm going to
try and send you a link so you can look at the pics taken by the class of 75. It really
is good art...

If you look closely, you may recognize Terry.
It is eery in some ways, two of the beautiful young men are gone to AIDS. Alas, I
knew one, Stephen Stepan, and I adored him. Donald Britton, the blond, is the friend of
Terry's mentioned in her book.
Well, I'll get back with you soon. Have a performance at the Gala next Saturday
night...will be coming late, have no costume as yet and no lines learned either. I think
I thrive much better under pressure; otherwise, I would just loll away the days...
Much love to you my slippery amigo.

Thanks, as always, for your kind email(s). What an amazing coincidence. Rocky
Mountain National Park, at Estes, is possibly my favorite spot on earth (Big Sur a close
second). I spent hours and hours hiking and climbing in that park. Long's Peak, a
14'er and Mount Meeker, at just under 14,000 ft. being perhaps most memorable. Thanks
for stirring up good memories. I also love the drive up over Trail Ridge Road from Estes
to Grand Lake, going over the continental divide. I'm not overly fond of underground
tunnels under bodies of water either.
I'll play the fool and look about for some iron pyrite for you. What fools we
mortals be.
Hope your week is going well, and that the rain is not depressing you. So many
people are affected by SAD and the like. I kind of like it.

My Dear Wet Wally,
I also feel great in the mountains. I also went to Leadville as well. Neat
old town. Colorado is one of the places I would have gone had I had more brains. I
guess Estes Park is one of my favorite spots though driving through the Eisenhower tunnel
didn't do a lot for me. I will never go under the East River in New York although it
may be cleaner...just freakie....
Go and have a blast. Bring me back a piece of pyrite if you find one or any
rock that glitters (as most of them do).
I'll be thinking of you enjoying.

Thanks, I will. I feel better at altitude, and am looking forward to it.
Baby Doe - perfect. I love the Leadville area - did some climbing around there long ago
and far away ... Wander away, sweet princess.

Take care, my friend.
