You can use the WMF marks to sell merchandise only under the constraints of
section 4.6 of the trademark policy:
http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Trademark_policy
Incidentally I applied for a licence a couple of weeks ago for an event
that we're organising with Barclays, assuming it fell under "Events and
conferences" (section 4.3). I was very pleasantly surprised to get an
almost immediate response that it was allowed under "Outreach and
recruiting new contributors" (section 3.3) without a licence, but obviously
subject to the Visual identity guidelines at:
http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Visual_identity_guidelines
Praise where it's due, the WMF have made a real effort to accommodate
genuine use of its marks. In case of doubt, just ask - they are on the ball
and are trying to help.
Cheers

I don't think *selling* merchandise is included

I'm pretty sure that the selling of merchandise is not on our radar either
way.

Nothing very profound. It simply provides the

Including to *sell* merchandise?
