I had a talk with the domain owner of wikijournal.orgrecently, and it is
possible to merge our projects if we attain a WikiJournal/Future as
separate Wikimedia project

think the most important next step is to become a "thematic organization

proving that we can work as a separate organization: I can start a draft of
bylaws soon.
