I am actually pretty disappointed that the current design, which very 
quickly proved useless, has stayed for this long.  It has certainly 
driven me away from Votes for deletion.  I believe it should be changed 
quickly without much discussion; we can still discuss it to no end, but 
in the meantime, I would prefer to have something else, and it is really 
trivial to come up with something that is better than the current design.
