The short answer: it took some time before we were able to create and
provide a new place to store the continually-increasing dumps, but that
server is now active and being populated with data.  (While it was, in
theory, ready just before Wikimania there were issues that shortly
revealed themselves which forced us to abort its use and roll back
temporarily.

Right now, it looks likes things are fine and I expect that I should be
able to make the new server available sometime this weekend.
