నిన్ననే 30 వేల వ్యాసాలు అన్నారు అప్పుడే 50 వేలేమిటి అని చూస్తున్నారా. నిన్న
చెప్పింది "వ్యాసాల" సంఖ్య గురించి, ఇవాళ "పేజీల" సంఖ్య గురించి చెబుతున్నాను.
ఈ రెండిటికీ తేడా ఏమిటి?
వ్యాసాలు అనగా మనందరం మామూలుగా చదవగలిగే సమాచారం ఉన్న పేజీలు. ఇలాంటి
వ్యాసాలకు సహాయంగా, బొమ్మలు, వర్గీకరణ పేజీలు, మూసలు (టెంప్లేటులు), వ్యాసంలో
ఉన్న సమాచారంపై చర్చా పేజీలు, సభ్యుల పేజీలు, సహాయ పేజీలు, మొదలయిన పేజీలు ఇంకా
చాలా ఉంటాయి. ఈ పేజీలు వ్యాసాలను మొత్తంగా కలిపేస్తే పేజీల సంఖ్య వస్తుంది.
ఇతర బారతీయ వికీపీడియాలు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాయి?
బెంగాలీ వికీపీడియాకు 59 వేల పేజీలున్నాయి. దాని తరువాత పేజీల సంఖ్యలో తెవికీ
నిలుస్తుంది. ఇంకో నెలా రెండు నెలలలో మనం దానిని దాటేస్తాములేండి. మన తరువాతి
స్థానంలో తమిళ వికీపీడియా, బిష్నుప్రియా మనిపూరి వికీపీడియా 25 వేల పేజీలతో
పోటీ పడుతున్నాయి.
ప్రస్తుతం తెలుగు వికీపీడియాలో 1000-2000 మంచి వ్యాసాలు ఉన్నాయి. వీటి నుండి
ప్రతీవారం ఒక వ్యాసాన్ని ఎంచుకుని తెవికీ మొదటి
పేజీలో<http://te.wikipedia.org/>ప్రదర్శిస్తున్నారు. ముందు ముందు దీనిని
ప్రతీ రోజు ఒక మంచి వ్యాసం ప్రదర్శనగా
చేస్తారేమో. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం ఈ వ్యాసాలను మీకు email ద్వారా అందించే ప్రయత్నం
కూడా జరుగుతుంది. కావలిసిన వారికే అలా వారానికి ఒక వ్యాసం పంపించే ఏర్పాట్లు
ప్రస్తుతం ఇంకా పూర్తవలేదు. అది పూర్తయ్యే వరకు నేనే ప్రతీ వారం ఒక మెయిలు
పంపిస్తాను. ఎవరికయినా అబ్యంతరాలుంటే తెలుపగలరు.
ప్రతీ వారం తెవికీ మొదటి పేజీలో ప్రదర్శింపబడే వ్యాసాం సంక్షిప్తంగా ఈ

ఇప్పుడు వికిపీడియాలో తెలుగు రాయటానికి, వ్యాసాలు దిద్దటానికి బయటి పరికరాలేవీ
ఉపయోగించకుండా ఎడిట్ బాక్సులోనే తెలుగు టైపు చెయ్యగలిగే పరికరమొచ్చింది. ఏదైనా
వ్యాసము ఎడిట్ చేస్తున్నప్పుడు ఎడిట్ బాక్సు టూల్ బార్ కింద ఒక చెక్ బాక్స్
ఉంటుంది. దాని మీద టిక్ పెడితే ఇక ఎంచక్క ఎడిట్ బాక్సులోనే తెలుగు నేరుగా టైపు
చెయ్యొచ్చు.
దీన్ని విలైనంతగా RTS లిప్యాంతరీకరణ ప్రమాణాలకు అనుగుణంగా తీర్చిదిద్దా. కానీ
ఇంకా ఇది పరిపూర్ణమవలేదు. ఏవైనా సమస్యలు కానీ, మెరుగు పరచు ఆలోచనలు కానీ ఉంటే
తెలియజేయగలరు

i am writing vemana satakams in wikisource ..but the page space is less .can
anybody tell or do it.. change it into two or three pages of all 108
satakams with meanings.
