Aphaia and I were discussing on IRC earlier that it
would be a good idea to
ask local projects what they currently do for policies.
Specially about citing source and copyright issues, in personal
interest. We should establish EDP, if we want to use fair use
materials, even Text, as Drini informed us.
Things like how "references are necessary"
for French Wikiquote.
I know only de, fr and ja policies about that. As for Jawikiquote,
requirement of citing source is not strong, and we accept still
unsourced materials, but on the other hand, no copyrighted materials
are accepted in relation to Japanese Copyright Law. So from living
authors, we only accepted quotes in PD, like addresses in the Diet.
We could share our own
policies and analyze what's a good idea and help make the individual
projects better. :-)
Please e-mail in with your comments on this and how it works on your local
