Purely because "that's what we did last
year", I concentrated on looking at
UCL and contacting them. UCL is, however, not the only campus university in
London [1].
UCL is nice and central and right next to Euston station which makes
it very easy to get to. Imperial college is also another possibility.
It's in a very nice part of london and right next to the three big
museums and very close to the royal albert hall. It isn't served by a
mainline railway station but is on the tube. Kings college is on the
river. It's in a very busy part of london. Queen mary and Westfield is
in the east end. Slightly rough area. I'd say we should probably go
with UCL unless they say no.

FWIW, the contact at UCL last year was Sam Kuper - I'm copying him
into this mail, though I'm not sure if he's still there and/or
interested in pursuing a bid for next year.
Cheers,
