I'm strictly speaking not an academic but I edit extensively articles on my
field of expertise (in fact, I've pretty much single handedly rewritten the
whole field on WP due to a lack of interest...) and so some of the question
angles synced with what I experience. I flicked through the questionnaire,
and came away with the feeling that many of the questions seem to largely
miss the point, or misunderstand the WP eco system. For example:
"Researchers are not allowed to write about their original research in
Wikipedia"
Is nowhere near a simple agree/disagree question. Is it asking whether WP
resists people writing about their own research on WP, or is it talking
about unpublished OR Academics are trying to push in. These are two
distinctly different questions!!
Probably in terms of edit count / contributions to
Wikipedia.
Thanks,
Mike

Do you mean generally top in the academia, or the
top UK academic in

One further question from them, which is a rather interesting one:
"Is there any way at all knowing who the TOP UK academic author is?"

Wikipedia (although I keep forgetting how small my enwp edit count is,
considering how much time I spend on Wikimedia...) and everything that the
UK community + WMUK's trying to do with education at the moment.

someone that might, please could you get in touch asap? They need to talk to
someone today ideally...
