Hi,
The Kolkata community is organizing the 9th session of Wiki Takes Kolkata
to photo-document the monuments of Sovabazar and Pathuriaghat area of
Kolkata on 22 September, 2019. This year, the community is organizing the
walk to upload the photographs for Wiki Loves Monuments. Details can be
found here -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Takes_Kolkata_IX
Also, the West Bengal community is adding data about monuments, listed
under Kolkata Municipal Corporation heritage list, to Wikidata and expect
to complete that by the end of this month. One of such working list is here
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons%3AWiki_Loves_Monuments_in_India%…>.
Later, targeted projects will be taken to geo/photo-document the uncovered

Dear Women Wikimedians,
As per our brief conversation online and during Wiki Women Lunch at
Wikimania Stockholm, we shared the idea of having WikiWomen Camp 2020. I
don't have words to express my gratitude for all the support, interest and
encouragement. I am delighted to share with you all that we (Me and some
fellow wikimedians who have been guiding me since Wikimedia Summit 2019)
wish to start the formal discussions around the camp. As first step of
planning, I am hereby sharing the Pre-event survey link
<https://forms.gle/PaS6jNuv4UdTbhTH7> with all of you for your suggestions
and inputs. This will help us understand the needs and expectations from
the event. You are also requested to share this with all the women in your
group so that we can reach out to majority of women in the movement.
Thanks and Regards,
