hi,
It would be great to have VJTI as a venue.
We're looking for the venue for morning of January 15 to avoid a clash
with the Marathon the next day. Any time upto early morning will do.
We're looking for a venue with no fixed seating for about 50-100
people so that there is movement and guests can speak to one another.
Thank you,
Pradeep

Another update on the Wikipedia X celebrations.
We have two venues available - Marathi Granth Sangrahalaya at Dadar and
the
Coffee Beans and Tea Leaves in Bandra. We're now checking out venues at
St.
Xavier's College, a Parsi school near CST, YMCA and Brabourne Stadium
(adjoining halls).
If any of you have other venue suggestions that are good we'd like to
consider them in advance. We hope to finalize the venue in another day or
two.
I can also talk to the folks at VJTI for the auditorium or seminar hall
(disclosure: I'm an alumnus). VJTI is located at Dadar (very easy to get to
from the Western, Central and Harbour lines).
Is there estimate on how many people we can expect? (Auditorium can seat
about 300, seminar halls can seat between 50 and 80 people, depending on the
hall)
