Greetings to Asian Wikimedians,
I have to admit that we haven't gone that far. Thai Wikimedians
generally agree that a chapter is a way to go forward. However, given
limited manpower/funding and possible legal implication, we may stay
as a loose online movement for a period of time.
The most important issue for us at the moment is to put ideas into
pratices. We discussed a number of outreach activities at
schools/universities but it hasn't really happened yet. I probably
need to push harder and set example for others if I can.
For a possible visit, please leave a message at our embassy page on
th.wikipedia. We don't have a capacity to host a visitor yet but you
may find a voluteer that want to have a chat with you.
Cheers,
Taweetham

Hello,
Please do let us know the developments in your chapter preparations. Your
brother and sister Asian chapters are willing to help!
I hear that the Thai Chapter will be setting up soon, I like to personally
visit Thailand and meet the community there. To our Thai Wikimedians, do let
us know about your chapter development.
