In follow-up, I've been told that this same email was sent to all wikibooks
bureaucrats, because it was assumed that small group of people would be a
good way to contact the community at large. In the future, I'll go though
and remove any contact information from forwarded emails.

Good thing Wikipedia staff is on the list. :)
Also, I wanted to note that that in general, Guillaume is correct about
forwarding personal emails to public lists--it should not be done...but
in looking at this email I can see that Andrew used his judgment; this
email was intended for the Wikibooks Community and/or the Foundation.
