Should I assume this it's definitely not possible to get even the most
recent revision ID, (i.e. not the new one)?
Just want to make sure I've exhausted the possibilities before biting the
bullet and looking at the python option.

It's not really possible with our current architecture, since the
revision ID has not yet been assigned at the time we save the text into
the database.
That makes sense.
Is there any way at all to save the *previous* revision ID? This is for
bot editing, so anything that a bot can access would be a possibility.
(Though hopefully it won't be too complex, since I'm not a coder.)
