Hi Brion,
Hi All,
I have a wiki that I run to keep notes. I now have this one page that
does not update it's display, no matter how much I edit the content.
I have put it up on the www to better explain my problem. Here is the page;
http://rouble.podzone.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page/todo
If you'll notice the pages content is different from what is being
displayed. Does anyone know what is going on ? [You may edit the wiki
to test it out - but please don't remove any existing content]
I think I am running mediawiki 1.4.5 released 2005-06-03. I am running
this on debian 3.1 using php5, apache2 and mysql.
It's loading a previous parser cache entry (see the comment inserted
into the HTML output.) Check the cur entry for the cur_touched
timestamp, see if it's correct (it should be expiring).
Try ?action=purge, make sure that it's updating the cur_touched
timestamp and purging the cache. Check that you don't have a bogus
$wgCacheEpoch or other setting.
I should have mentioned - I just installed mediawiki - I am pretty
much a newbie - so it is a little difficult for me to verify all the
things you said above.
I tried
http://rouble.podzone.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page/todo?action=purge,
nothing really happened.
Can you please let me know how I should go about checking the cur
entry or cur_touched etc. Also, where should I check for
$wgCacheEpoch.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
rouble
