Hi Francois Colonna, mine looks like a brand new website. I wonder whether
it is because I changed the name of my database as I didn't want to corrupt
the original one. This problem has been a longstanding one and it's like an
axe on my neck. I like Mediawiki but till date, I have not been able to do
even one upgrade, so my
Dummipedia.org and
Teknologi-maklumat.com websites
are still using the 1.10 version. Now the
Teknologi-maklumat.com site is
down. Wonder whether it is my webhost trying to help me solve the problem.
They are very helpful but they are not familiar with the software either.

Hi, it is really amazing! I managed to duplicate
my "ekompute" wiki
database, just in case the original gets corrupted. I named the new
database
"teknologi".
I then installed Mediawiki Version 1.14. When I set up the wiki by
rerunning
the installer, everything looks find. However,
the pages are empty so I
thought I could correct it by replace the new docs and images folders
with
the old one. (I replaced the images folder once
in my previous attempt
and
the images appear. But now it suddenly
doesn't).
Seems like everyone is having no problems with upgrading. I wonder why I
am
so damp!

Hello,
no you are not alone I post a similar problem yesterday:
"database did not find the text of an existing page after upgrading
from 1.11 to 1.14"
In my case it seems that the id of a page text is no more the same as
its title id, so I only get the title and not the text, with an error
message. Is it the same for you ?
Best
Francois Colonna
