I imagine the following has been covered before, but I'm having trouble
locating specific information. I have just upgraded my wiki site from
1.5.6 to 1.6.8. Now whenever I edit a page I get the following error:
*Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data.
Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging
back in.
*If the solution has been covered before, please point me to it. I would
greatly appreciate that.
Thanks,
Roy
hi,
I've just upgraded from version 1.3.9 to 1.5.8, and after upgrade, I can't save
pages. when I click the Save button, I get back to the edit page. in most of the
times, it works only after I click save in the 3rd to 10th time, or even more.
if it's of any relevance, my host (sourceforge.net) doesn't allow web
applications to write to the web space, but that was the case with the
previous
version too.
thanks,
tsahi

Hello.
I had the same problem.
My problem was that my LocalSettings.php was corrupted. It was not generated with the config page, but copied from another mediawiki installation and modified. The problem was that the $IP variable at the beginning of the file doesn't point to the actual installation directory. If I modify this settings, it runs.
On top of previous problem I get the following error after an upgrade
from 1.5.6 to 1.7.1 when a user tries to send a new password to
themselves
Error sending mail: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 501
Protocol requies only one recipient at a time
Can anyone please shed some light on this
When I try to show a picture with this source
thumbnail
i get errormessage in the wikipage:
Error creating thumbnail
Showing without resize cause no problems:
frame
Billede:Skytrain.jpg
What can be the problem ?
Dear Friends,
