There's such a thing as taking this to extremes.  The way you put it if 
two beer buddies sit down and discuss their latest parking tickets they 
could be illegally driving lawyers into starvation.  In practical terms, 
even though lawyers write the rules they are not turned on unless they 
can smell money.
