No, that would be silly.  VFU should not try to gainsay deletion
policy.  We should undelete unless there is a consensus to delete.

Again and again I see people bring perfectly good articles for
undeletion, only for people who, for reasons of good faith, I have to
assume are completely ignorant both of the purpose of Wikipedia and of
the deletion policy and of the undeletion policy, falsely claim that
the content of the article must not be taken into account, in order to
prevent the undeletion of good articles.

Why is such bureaucreatic idiocy  tolerated?

We'll get to the matter of hordes of useless deleted articles being
relisted on VFU (and this being a problem) if ever it should come to
that.

I can only imagine that it would be a glorious change to the stupid
situation that pertains at present.
