Doesn't pliny have 2GB of memory? I'm only seeing "883MB" of memory

the machine, that is very, very bizarre...

Okay, well, here is what happened. When pliny was rebooted the other
day, it was rebooted with the default LILO kernel (which is not the
kernel we had been running before it was rebooted.)
Brion/Lee: I changed LILO to boot linuxsecond rather than
linuxnewserial. Now we have HIGHMEM support.
Everybody else: Now our database server has 2047MB of memory rather than
896MB of memory. It should be much faster. ;)
