"shook" a rather common word and
"ghook", well, not a word at all?
Not foolish at all. "Shook" is the past participle of "shake", a
perfectly common word. "Ghook" is not a word I'm familiar with.
However, I agree that the first letter does look more like a 'g' than
an 's'.
