If you read my statement more carefully, you will notice that I did
not say "are *in* the United States".

My bad, I mentally inserted the "in". You're correct in that respect --
Wikipedia is *not* the US. However, by filing its tax returns from Florida,
it is subject to the laws of the US, although for internet policies, any
other country can place its own restrictions/regulations on Wikipedia as a
"virtual" entity.
I guess all of us non-old-timers (under two years or so?) are guilty then --
pretty much all of us refer to it as Wiki.
