Hi!
I wonder why code for interface language from user preferences was not
re-used? Why only limited number of languages available? At least
#LANGUAGE: magic word could be used for accessing language names.
Sorry for stupid questions,
Eugene.

Global changes:

Heads up! I've replaced the "nogomatch" message with "noexactmatch".
This moves the evil magic colon into the messages themselves. The
message no longer accepts a $2 parameter (since it's not needed).
The commit updated all message files as far as possible, but I'd
appreciate it if you could give your language the once-over when you
next submit a patch.
Thanks,
Rob Church
The list of problems [1] was updated yesterday. The localization
statistics [2] were updated a minute ago.

Changes to messages in the period of 2006-05-22 to 2006-06-03:
Added:
* "autoredirectcomment"
* "editold"
* "feed-invalid"
* "history-feed-title"
* "history-feed-description"
* "history-feed-item-nocomment"
* "history-feed-empty"
* "licenses" (should not be translated)
* "wldone"
* "sp-newimages-showfrom"
Modified:
* "gotaccount" – the change is "already got an account" to "already
have an account", which should not affect most of the translations.
* "nogomatch" – the parameter $2 was added, to replace $1 in one place.
Renamed and modified:
* "uploadnewversion" was renamed to "uploadnewversion-linktext", and
the "[$1 x]" text was changed to "x". It was already changed in
all the languages.
* "undeletedtext" was renamed to "undeletedpage", and changed the
parameter ($1 was originally the page name, but now it is a
complete link), the "$1 was restored" text is now bold, the text
was divided into two paragraphs, etc.

Currently, I think there is no easy way to translate the extensions of
MediaWiki into other languages. I suggest to create a hook, or something
like that, in the end of every messages list in every languages (named
"addMessages", "addMessagesDe", etc.), and to add their returned value
to the array. The extensions will add functions like
"MakeSysopMessages", "MakeSysopMessagesDe", etc., to these hooks. Is it
possible?

Can we ask Brion to announce next major release of MediaWiki in this
mail list 2 days before split trunk to release branch.
Something like translation freeze.

Hi!
It's looks like next text for protection log entry is hardcoded:
[edit=autoconfirmed:move=autoconfirmed]
[edit=sysop:move=sysop]
I translated 'restriction-edit' and 'restriction-move' messages, but
text 'edit' and 'move' still there. Additionally there is no message
with text 'autoconfirmed' in Allmessages.
With best regards,
Eugene.
I'm sending this message so that
gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.vietnamese and
gmane.org.wikimedia.mediawiki.i18n will show up on Gmane. Carry on.
