Hi Hey,
he withJS-param only allows from a MediaWiki-namespace (because of
security reasons, think XSS)
From our own userspace one can simply wrap a script within an if()-
statement of (wgTitle == "Main Page") and the script will load when on
the Main Page.
NB: Magnus' script already has this ifstatement anyway because the
script should (ofcourse) only load on the Main Page, so copying as-is
should work).
If you'd like to keep your vector.js (and it's history) clean, you
could ofcourse also put it on another page (ie. Special:MyPage/
sandbox.js and importScript(User:You/sandbox.js); it like that in
vector.js )

Nice :) Although i guess maybe only one image instead of a few might
be a bit easier on the eye. Is there any way i could edit the
Javascript? I tried loading it from my personal userspace, but
apparently MediaWiki doesn't allow that (only from the Mediawiki:
space).
I've put a wireframe rendering of the Commons brainstorm sketches on
the Usability wiki:

Maybe we can take that as a starting point for further discussions on
the redesign.
