There are small projects like localwikis and regiowikis but I suppose
the largest players are still Mapillary and KartaView (formerly
OpenStreetView) combined with OpenStreetMap.
OsmAnd has a button to upload photos to

for every point of interest. StreetComplete does not have such a quest.
I'm not sure what's the availability of the Mapillary and KartaView
datasets in data dumps at the moment. Of course there are privacy
considerations:

Some research papers mention KartaView but nevertheless proceed with
