[Wikipedia-l] when will www.wikipedia.com be the new portal?

Hello,
I've noticed that references to english wikipedia
most of the time bring you to en.wikipedia.org, and
the wikipedia link from the wikimediafoundation page
brings to the "provisional portal of wikipedia", a
multilingual attempt in meta.wikipedia.
When will a multilingual portal be installed in 
www.wikipedia.org?, so as to avoid a link to a 
"provisional portal" ?
