That was my understanding of the vote we did do - perhaps that should have
been made more clear.

Me to. Make it so! I'm sure some people will suggest even better tweaks in the
next few weeks after we give the winning Nohat logo some exposure.

I suggested the very same thing a while ago. Neolux's concept got second place
in the first vote and this specific logo
http://meta.wikipedia.org/upload/f/f1/Ncwikicol.png got second place in the
second vote. So I say we should go with that (or another Neolux variant) at
least for a temp Wikimedia logo. NOTE: There still is the nagging issue that
the Neolux logos look like another famous logo, but nobody has been able to
pin that down. Perhaps it is an inherent brilliance of the design.

Eh? IMO, each project needs to have its own unique logo that is designed by
its own participants. There is not much in common between the different
Wikimedia projects other than an umbrella organization and the fact that they
are all free content wikis. The Wikiquote logo is brilliant, for example, and
I wouldn't change a thing. How could that be tied in with the other logos?

Simply have "A [Wikimedia] project" below every logo on every Wikimedia
project ([Wikimedia] would be a link to the portal at http://wikimedia.org/).
