I rarely get offended but anything at all, so neither swastikas nor 
hammers and sickles bother me, but I'd say they both bother me about 
equally to the extent that they have any effect on me at all.  Both are 
symbols of totalitarianism and state murder.

(But symbols themselves never killed anyone, only the people who follow 
the symbols.)
