The thing is Nicholas, you're argument that you shouldn't have to jump 
through hoops to not see the image is just as valid for those who wish 
not to jump through hoops to see the image. And you're the one wanting 
to change what was the status quo, so I don't see how this is a lesson 
on why votes should be rarely used. In fact the situation might help 
direct some energy at finding a technical solution.
