Who is this "Christian culture" in the United States you
speak about? And are you implying that the Christian religion
has a monopoly on intolerant & zealous people -- so that
objections from people professing other beliefs alone should
always be assumed to offer objections in good faith?

I would like to assume this is not an example of the ad
hominem attacks alleged to have been levelled during this
extended discussion, but I am finding it hard to read this
post otherwise.
