[Engineering] Fwd: Wikimedia Hackathon 2019: Registration Open!

Hello!

This email is for WMF staff who are interested in attending the Wikimedia
Hackathon 2019 in Prague which will be taking place 17-19 May, 2019. If you
are interested in attending, please read this email and links completely. If
you are not interested, you can stop reading here! :)

Thank you for your patience with us as we worked come up with a fair
process to determine who should attend this event while staying within the
50 person limitations.

The 2019 WMF Staff hackathon decision committee is:

   -

   Deb Tankersly (Representing Technology)
   -

   Moriel Schottlender (Representing Audiences)
   -

   Srishti Sethi (Representing volunteer developers)
   -

   Rachel Farrand ( Representing the event programs and the best interests
   of WMCZ)

There is a separate scholarship committee and a separate organizing team
for this year’s event, together the group outlined above will just focus on
the WMF attendee selection.

We have done our best to outline the decision process, decision criteria
and next steps for you here on Officewiki

As usual we will do our best to learn from our efforts this year and carry
on lessons to future events and future years.

the Wikimedia Hackathon 2019

The hackathon will be held at the Czech National Library of Technology
