I think that what Anthere wants to say is that ingénieur applies oftenly to
both male and female engineers while ingénieure always applies only to
female. So, if you are male, you can never speak thrutfully and disclose your
gender while, if you are female, you can choose whether you want to disclose
your gender or not.
