I had the impression it was probably a joke, but decided to answer the
hypothetical unasked question anyway -- and it would be "impossible" to
write the whole thing as it currently exists in Javascript, with current
implementations of Javascript, but it's not impossible to create an
online encyclopedia without any server-side scripting for the website.
