I am willing to know if we are willing to use a blog

Any particular reason not to do it as a wikiblog?
Basicly : RSS feeds, automatic archiving and the ability to only read
the content that matter (eg split posts using "development",
"wikifarm"
and categories).
Is there something in there MediaWiki can't do?
I think
http://dev.wikimedia.org/ would be a good place to have a
development wiki with blog stuff.
