I've never had any problems compiling texvc
on Mac OS X; I usually
install ocaml via Fink. You may wish to confirm you've installed
relevant developer tools as well.
(If you can list exactly how you installed
everything, and what OS
version and processor type, that probably helps narrow it down.)
I sort of solved my problems and I would like to know, do you run OS X
on an intel or on a powermac?
Both, never any problems.
It turned out that on an intel it works without any
problem.
However on the Intel latex, gs etc are installed in slightly different
directories.
So finally I had to change the path in render.ml transfer them to the
Intel Mac compile them, transfer them back and it worked (the path of
latex etc are hardwired in texvc)
That should not be necessary.
