Indeed, I think everyone is aware of that.
All activity related to publishing this report (and fixing the bugs
mentioned in it) was tracked on

(which has been now made public, it used to be private), which doesn't
seem to be linked in the blog post.
Two subtasks related to user JS system are

there. No one was seriously considering getting rid of the system.
