Hi Douglas,
I went to the few events that were held in Johannesburg. They seem to have stopped, or if
they are still having get togethers, I haven't seen any invites.
They spoke about how to go about editing and next meeting was going to be to set us up to
be able to get rights to do some editing.
My interest is in Joburg heritage and was keen to contribute towards the Joburgpedia
project - which actually seemed like it's no longer being maintained.
My thought at the time was it would be great if they could rather do a full day get
together, rather than just a quick meeting.
Everyone that arrives, is put onto the system and given some material to insert or update
and guided for the whole day and properly empowered.
Obviously not everyone could do a whole day, but given the option - sure there would be a
few people open to the idea.
Warm regards, Mark
