Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I posted to the list. I hope you are doing well.
We have had three meetups so far in Atlanta. They were all successful in
their small ways. During the most recent one in June at the Piedmont park
(Wikinic 2012), we had a discussion about increasing particapation in
future meetups. One of the upcoming meetups is the Wikipedia Loves
Libraries event in November, 2012. We had a really successful event last
year thanks to the awesome support from Jillian and John with the Atlanta
Fulton Libraries. I would like to us to start really early this year with
planning and advertising for the event. I am shooting for a goal of 50
people showing up at the event.
I have started a Wikipedia page to sign up for the event here,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Atlanta/Atlanta_4
We hope to have continued support from AFLS this year. The plan is to meet
at the Central Library in Atlanta on November 19 (Tentative date; will be
adjusted with the nationwide event).

We should also plan the agenda and discussions for the event. We should
have a computer training session for people new to Wikipedia. Also a
training session on using the automate editing tool, AutoWikiBrowser.
Please share your thoughts on how to make this event successful.
Thanks and best regards,
