Hi Monika,
Congratulations. We've needed a Wikimedian to do outreach in the Seattle
area for quite awhile, and I'd be happy to see you doing that as a part of
your work with OCLC.
Looking forward to future collaborations,
Pine

Hey Cascadians,
I'm pleased to share that I've got a new hat -- I'm your new
Wikipedian-In-Residence with the OCLC. I'll spearhead an outreach program
between Wikipedians and public librarians. Hooray! This is such a timely
and important project. Thank you Cascadians -- for helping me be a better
Wikipedian.
The initiative will get rolling in the next week or so. I anticipate
knowledge-sharing and collaborations in our locale and around the U.S. Let
me know if you have any questions or would like to get involved. :)
Sincerely,
Monika

This is right up my alley! I will be applying and
would be thrilled to
take this off the ground. Thanks for the forward, Lane.
I hope everyone is doing well and to connect with you about future
Cascadia meet ups, I have my check to be a member for 2017, where should
I
mail it?
Also if you have any questions about the invitation to participate in the
Editing as Activism event at UW-Bothell, please let me know. I believe it
would be a great partnership and event to have as a Cascadia meet up.
yours
Monika
