You're moving the goalposts a bit here. I was responding to a proposal to plain out
"ban pedophiles", regardless of what they did or did not post to Wikipedia.
I think it's reasonable to have all sorts of restrictions on what people post on
userpages, those are totally within our purview. Going beyond that and banning people for
stuff they do or believe or feel _outside_ of Wikipedia is where we're into less
supported territory.
