I sent a lengthy message, which Mr Orlowski represented with some
creativity, and the version run almost reflects things I said. I
strongly suggest that anyone answering one of Mr Orlowski's articles
in future also sends a copy to the editor directly:
http://forms.theregister.co.uk/mail_the_reg/?user=joef . I have no
idea if it'll make any difference, but at least the editor can't then
claim he wasn't aware.

Yeah and of course they still put the criticisms on the first page and
to find the good statements you have to go through a link at the bottom
of the page to get to the second page. It is and has been for some time
obviously clear that the register is anti-wikipedia.
