Hey I'm no real programmer although I have

if I could format it into two formal columns, one

don't
konw how to mess with it as there is no "edit"
button in
the page. (I could note that I have not messed with
uploading files to the WP before ...) Is there a
simple way
that someone could explain how I can play with that
code ?
Or could someone do the edit into two columns, so
that
there is no text reflow when the note dialog opens ?

In your browser, there should be some type of option
"save page as" in the File menu. Then, you open the
file with a text editor, and edit it. After that, just
save it locally on your computer and reupload it to
wikipedia. You may want to change where you're saving
it, though. I made a version that looks more like a
windowing system and had some simplified javascript,
but I uploaded it to Sidenote-window.html (see
http://www.wikipedia.org/upload/d/de/Sidenote-window.html)
instead because some people might object to how the
changes look.
