Summary: interwiki links on subpages in templates
Initial Comment:
In English and some other major wikipedias interwiki links are placed on /doc subpage (or whatever it's called) in templates. Interwiki bot should check if such a page exists and not place interwiki links on main template page but place/update links on that subpage. Otherwise, everytime a bot places interwiki on a template with this structure, the main template page needs to be cleaned and interwiki links moved to a subpage manually

A few pages in the project namespace also use subpages for headers and
interwiki links. Subpages usually have <includeonly> around the iw and
category links, interwiki bots should leave that in place.

Every like it about his problem.
If there is a page with subpages in templates. The interwiki links on the
subpages needs to places in inside the nowiki section. So if the last word
of the page is </nowiki> the interwiki link needs to be placed before the
</nowiki> tag.
I'm the operator of the CarsracBot with its home on the nl.wikipedia.org
And I have seen this behaviour on that articles where
en:list_of_asteroides/1101-1200 is a part of.

Summary: Patch for interwiky in templates (1)
Initial Comment:
Attached patch encures that interwiki added to templates are in a <noinclude> tag. If existing interwikis are not inside <noinclude> they are moved inside it. If no <noinclude> exists, it is added. (bug #1729765)
This patch DOES NOT take care of template interwiki being including from documentation subpage.

thank you for this solution. there still remains however one small issue:
if noinclude tages are present in the template but there are no interwiki
links, new interwiki links are added with extra noinclude tags.

Summary: New languages not sorted correctly
Initial Comment:
Some new languages (myv, ext, hif, gan, kaa, mdf, sah, szl and srn) were added in r5440, but the codes were not added in self.alphabetic_revised and self.alphabetic_lb in the file families/wikipedia_family.py, so these languages are not always sorted correctly.
Another problem: As far as I can see, hif, kaa, sah and szl are sorted incorrectly in self.alphabetic in the file family.py. Shouldn't they be sorted as follows?
fa,
hif (Fiji Hindi),
fo (Føroyskt);
pt (Português),
kaa (Qaraqalpaqsha),
crh (Qırımtatarca);
ru (Русский),
sah (Саха тыла / Sakha tyla),
se (Sámegiella); and
sl (Slovenščina),
szl (Ślůnski),
so (Soomaaliga).
I am attaching a patch for family.py. Sorry, no patch for families/wikipedia_family yet.

Sorry, but r5500 fixed the problem only for some languages. The new
languages need to be added also in self.alphabetic_revised and
self.alphabetic_lb in families/wikipedia_family.py, where the sorting order
is different. I just didn't have time to propose a patch for this file.

Hmm, I wonder how many errors there are with previously added languages?
At least stq (Seeltersk) is sorted incorrectly in self.alphabetic and
missing from the other tables.
Does anyone have a sorting order test kit?

Also ext is sorted incorrectly in self.alphabetic. I'll upload a corrected

Summary: create library for diffs, expand userlib
Initial Comment:
Add a new library, editlib, for parsing diffs. It will parse the diff html page, extracting info like editor, time, edit summary, etc, and creating lists of the lines and words marked as added and deleted. More details can be found in the docstrings.
For use with editlib, some new functions are also added to userlib. These will get the user's registration date, the number of edits the user has made, and the number of vandalism warnings on the user's talk page.
Only Wikipedia:en is supported - some of the regular expressions rely on English text. Within that scope, I've done reasonably thorough testing on the editlib functions, and somewhat less thorough testing on the new functions for userlib.
All of this is designed for use with automated vandalism detection. I am working on a bot to do just that - User:Kalbot - but it's still in an early experimental stage. I am User:DKalkin on the English Wikipedia, and can be reached at dkalkin(a)gmail.com.
This is the first time I've submitted a patch to any sourceforge project. Apologies if I've screwed anything up.
