Daniel,
I'm bringing an HD video camera to shoot some video stories for Wikipedia
Weekly, so let's talk about perhaps my helping out in this area.
Usually the video is not a huge problem, but getting good audio is!

Dear all,
in the pre-Wikimania days, members of WikiProject Open Access plan to
shoot a video around Open Access, Wikimedia and software development
linking the two.[1]
For that, it would be nice if someone could lend us a digital-format
video camera from August 4-6. Higher quality goes a long way for this,
so let's see what's possible. Some photography-oriented DSLRs like
some Nikon cameras have a video recording mode and may be easier to
find than a video camera of similar quality.
Thanks for any pointers,
Daniel
